Eileen and Pedro Trailer: The Kiss

It was right before Christmas when Eileen and Pedro got married.  Beautifully decorated Christmas trees adorned the church and the reception.  We titled this trailer "The Kiss" because, as the pastor predicted, it was the best kiss anyone has experienced at a wedding.  Well... at least one of the best.  These two are so in love and it showed with every kiss they shared that night.

Congratulations to you both.  May all your kisses in the years to come be filled with the same love.

At&t, pretty please can I have an iPhone?

Zeus and I recently had a frustrating experience that involves At&t and the iPhone and wanted to share.

I must admit, for all the efforts we have made to make sure we are at the cutting edge of technology, we have yet to get the iPhone.  So for Christmas, we thought it was about that time.  We walked into the Apple store with a twinkle in our eyes, excited to take home a couple of iPhones.  But ran into a problem when we wanted to keep both California and New York numbers on one account.  After a few attempts and an hour and a half later, Apple said we should go to At&t.  They can surely fix the problem.

Discouraged, but still eager to get our new toys, we walked over to the At&t store.  We started the process again for the 5th time and guess what...  no iPhones!  Apparently, At&t does not allow two numbers from separate states to be on one account.  Period.  Seriously, At&t?  Because Verizon has no issue with it.  Is there really no way to override this glitch?  I mean, is there an app for that or something?  Are we really the first couple from two different states that decided they want to have a family plan?!

Okay, deep breath.  There may be other avenues for us to take to get around this.  But my question is, is the iPhone really that cool for me to jump through At&t's hoops to have it?  Has anyone else encountered this problem?  If you have an iPhone and have anything to say about the phone or the service, I would love to know your thoughts.  In the meantime, I guess we're not the only ones frustrated with At&t:
